When said best friend asked, "when is he moving out?" and I replied "2 weeks or so,"
mr. desirable immediately looked down with a shy smirk and asked, "so WHEN is the guy moving out?" to which i replied "2 weeks." but, of course!

not too long after, his eyes caught mine, and so we watched each other's pupils for several seconds.

I thought romance was dead.

he also told the "best friend" that he likes my hair.

i wonder if i'm being hopeful...
